Chardham Yatra
Your divine journey begins as you arrive at Haridwar or Rishikesh. On
arrival, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with the
transfer to your hotel. After freshening up, step out in the evening to
witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (Haridwar) or
Triveni Ghat (Rishikesh). The sight of thousands of diyas floating in the
river, the sound of bells, and the chanting of mantras create a spiritual
atmosphere that marks the perfect beginning of your Yatra. Overnight
stay in Haridwar/Rishikesh.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En
route, stop by the enchanting Kempty Falls, where the water cascades
down in multiple streams. Continue your journey through winding
mountain roads, enjoying the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
Upon arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel/camp. The rest of the
evening is free to relax and prepare for the first Dham visit. Overnight
stay in Barkot.
Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti, the base point for Yamunotri. From
here, begin your 6 km trek to Yamunotri Dham, which can be done by
foot, pony, or palanquin (own expense). As you trek through lush forests
and bubbling streams, you'll feel the spiritual aura increasing with every
step. On reaching Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna,
take a holy dip at Surya Kund (hot spring) and cook rice in its waters as
a ritual offering. Offer prayers at the temple before trekking back to
Janki Chatti. Drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, leave for Uttarkashi, a town beautifully located on the
banks of River Bhagirathi. On the way, stop at Prakateshwar Mahadev
Cave, a naturally formed cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. On arrival
in Uttarkashi, check into the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, visit
the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Shakti Temple, which
houses a 6-meter-high trident, believed to be one of the strongest in the
world. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Rise early for a memorable excursion to Gangotri Dham. The drive
through Harsil Valley offers breathtaking views of pine forests and
snow-clad peaks. On reaching Gangotri, take a holy dip in the icy waters
of River Bhagirathi before offering prayers at the Gangotri Temple,
dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Feel the divine energy as you participate in
the rituals. After darshan, drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
Today is a long but scenic drive along the winding Himalayan roads
towards Guptkashi or Sitapur. En route, witness the confluence of
Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers at Rudraprayag, a mesmerizing sight.
On reaching Guptkashi, check into your hotel. In the evening, you may
visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva in his halfmale, half-female form. Overnight stay at Guptkashi/Sitapur.
After an early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag, the base for the trek to
Kedarnath. From here, begin your 20 km trek (or opt for pony, palki, or
helicopter service at your own cost). The trail takes you through dense
forests, gushing rivers, and snow-capped peaks, offering a truly divine
experience. Upon arrival at Kedarnath, check into government camps or
guesthouses. In the evening, join the Aarti at Kedarnath Temple, one of
the twelve Jyotirlingas, where Lord Shiva is worshipped as the supreme
deity. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Wake up to the spiritual vibrations of Kedarnath. After morning darshan
and pooja at the temple, begin the trek back to Sonprayag. From there,
drive back to Guptkashi/Sitapur. On arrival, check into the hotel and
rest after the long journey. Overnight stay at Guptkashi/Sitapur.
After breakfast, drive towards Badrinath, passing through the beautiful
town of Joshimath. En route, visit the Narsingh Temple, dedicated to
Lord Vishnu's Narasimha avatar. On reaching Badrinath, check into the
hotel. In the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple for darshan and
witness the evening Aarti, where the chants and lights createa deeply
spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Rise early for a holy dip in Tapt Kund (hot spring) before darshan at the
Badrinath Temple. After seeking blessings, explore nearby attractions
such as Brahma Kapal (where rituals for ancestors are performed),
Mana Village (the last village of India),Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. Later,
drive towards Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar. En route, witness the holy
confluences of Nand Prayag and Karna Prayag. On arrival, check into the
hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Rishikesh/Haridwar. On
arrival, enjoy sightseeing in Rishikesh, covering Ram Jhula, Laxman
Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. In the evening, attend the soulful
Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan (if time permits). Overnight stay in
Rishikesh/Haridwar.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Haridwar
Railway Station or Dehradun Airport for your onward journey. With
divine blessings from the four sacred Dhams, your spiritual journey
concludes with cherished memories and inner peace.
