Amarnath Vaishno Devi Itinerary
- Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station / Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you.
- Begin your journey by road to Katra, the base camp for the holy Maa Vaishno Devi shrine.
- On the way, enjoy the scenic views of lush mountains and river valleys.
- Check in to your hotel and relax after yourjourney.
- Evening at leisure - you may take a short walk in the Katra market for pooja items and prasad.
- Overnight stay at Katra.
- Early morning, freshen up and start your spiritual trek of 13 km from Katra to the sacred Bhawan (Maa Vaishno Devi Temple).
- The trek passes through Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka, Adhkuwari, Sanjhi Chhat, and finally the Bhawan.
- Seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, Mata Maha Kali, Mata Maha Lakshmi, and Mata Maha Saraswati.
- After darshan, return trek back to Katra (late evening arrival).
- Helicopter, pony or palki services are available (on direct payment basis).
- Overnight stay at Katra.
- After breakfast, check out and drive towards Pahalgam, also known as the "Valley of Shepherds."
- The drive takes you through the mesmerizing landscapes of Jammu & Kashmir, passing through green valleys, rivers, and pine forests.
- On arrival at Pahalgam, check in to the hotel and relax.
- Evening free for acclimatization and leisure walk in the beautiful surroundings.
- Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
- Early morning, after a quick breakfast, proceed to Chandanwari / Baltal (depending on route allocated for Yatra).
- Begin your sacred Yatra to Amarnath Cave by trek/pony/palki/helicopter (on direct payment).
- Reach the holy cave and have darshan of the naturally formed Ice Lingam of Lord Shiva, a divine sight symbolizing eternity.
- Feel the spiritual vibrations and chant "Har Har Mahadev" inside the cave.
- After darshan, return to Chandanwari/Baltal and transfer back to Pahalgam.
- Evening at leisure to rest after the yatra.
- Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
- After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive towards Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir.
- On arrival, check in to your hotel/houseboat.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake, surrounded by floating gardens and snow-capped mountains (direct payment).
- Visit the famous Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love).
- Evening free to stroll around the Boulevard Road and local markets.
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Depending on your flight/train timing, you may have some free time for local shopping (Kashmiri handicrafts, dry fruits, saffron, shawls).
- Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the divine blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi and Lord Shiva (Amarnath Ji).
